Ahmadu Bello University Law established Postgraduate School (now School of Postgraduate Studies) in 1980. All admitted students pursuing postgraduate programmes in Ahmadu Bello University are students of the School of Postgraduate Studies. The Academic Departments in Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria are responsible for the delivery of academic programmes as well as the supervision of research activities undertaken by students.
